As shocked as people are to watch a video of a 4 person CNN camera crew being arrested live on TV without cause this is exactly what black people go through everday. The police have tooo much power, they know it, and they abuse it. Even if they have no charge that would hold up in a court of law, if they don't like you they will put you in jail and ruin your next few days/week. Its blatantly unconstitutional and an abuse of power and it needs to fucking end. I grew up seeing it all the time. I would see someone be rude to a cop and the response would be "do you want to go to jail?", and I remember thinking...but he didn't break any law. I soon realized that it didn't matter if you broke a law or not.

The people need to arm themselves and fight back its the only way. When someone has a gun and is authorized to use it and you don't, you will never be treated with respect. They have ALL the power and they know it.

I think it should be illegal to require clothes honestly. I mean where do we get off criminalizing the natural human body. If I decide I want to lay out in the park in the nude for maximum vitamin D exposure it should be my right. Parents can tell their children to avert their eyes or better yet teach them that this is what nature made us look like and it is nothing to pay any particular attention to.

Women have more privileges overall then men do. Society goes out of its way to protect and care for women, it does no such thing for men. You can broadly see this with tax expenditures, as a gender women are net recipients of tax benefits whereas men are net payers. So the average woman over the course of her life can expect to receive more benefits from government than she will pay in taxes, for men it is the exact opposite.

Another example:

A woman doesn't want her child: terminate the pregnancy or give the child up for adoption, no questions asked no consequences.

A man doesn't want his child: he has no say and if the woman wants to keep the child he is an indentured servant for 18 years.

Women are not held responsible for their reproductive decisions, men are. Pretty big privilege right there.

That's a weird way to interpret IQ variance. If the average IQ is still the same, which the data seems to indicate, then men are just as likely to be lower performing as they are higher. That's hardly superiority.

That's exactly what the data shows. The best AND worst performers are male. Problem for women is this puts them at a big disadvantage in competitions.

That's exactly what the genetic theory holds. It says that if you are looking a population of thousands or millions or billions (just a huge sample size) Esports would count here because you are looking at basically everyone that plays video games and looking for those that are exceptionally talented. The singular best person at any given task under these circumstances will always be a male.

This issue was noted with the annual scrabble world championship, scrabble is a game that is mostly played by women and yet the world champion is always a man.

I make about 170 K a year plus a 10-15 K a year bonus. I'm a CPA and government executive.

I graduated with a degree in accounting and immediately took a job at a Big 4 accounting firm. My 20s then became basically hell on earth working high pressure, high stress, with absurd hours (like 80 hour work weeks). I impressed at a client however and landed a job with them and hours became a lot more reasonable. Basically I worked my ass off, and made it a point to always impress people who could provide me opportunities, basically I was the guy wearing a full suit when the dress code was business casual, I cultivated a good reputation by being reliable, professional, and never missing a deadline. Hard work a little bit of luck and I got a raise or promotion every year and was in a high paying industry. So now I'm 34 years old and make nearly 200 K a year and life is great, but I went through some pretty shitty times to get here. When people ask me how I did it in real life I basically say, remember your 20s when you were having a blast? I wasn't.

There is substantial evidence that males are more variable than females in general intelligence. People actually are uncomfortable with the real reason that women don't enter these competitions, it's because their chance at winning in a competition that includes men and women is little to none. There is a biological reason for this. It's called the greater variability theory. Basically because men have an X and Y chromosome women have X and X chromosomes.

This means that in the male population there is a much greater amount of genetic variability then in the female population. Thats means for instance that if you look at the average height of men but then look for the tallest men and the shortest men you will find a greater frequency of a big swings amongst men then among women. This applies to physical traits and mental traits, even IQs. There are many more male geniuses then there are female geniuses.

There are also many more more male idiots who dropped out of highschool and can't pass the GED exam then there are females of the same ability. From an evolutionary perspective this makes a lot of sense, its basically nature saying we can gamble with the male, but we can't gamble with the female. The reason this works is because you have 1 male that is great at everything...great he can go out and have a thousand children, its great for the species, it doesn't matter if you have a bunch of males that are morons and fail...they won't have much offspring and thats ok. However women are reproductively limited and so nature doesn't take any chances.

The practical results of this with the topic at hand is that in any competition open to massive amounts of males and females that you can come up with, whether it involves physicality or not, if you are going to create a competition where the winner is going to be exceptionally talented at doing some specific thing or set of things, the person that is abolutely the best at doing that specific thing will virtually always be a man. Open up the record books and take a look.

I for one agree with you TC. My life has never been better. Don't get me wrong this virus is objectively a horrible thing that has happened to all of us, I know more than most as my father nearly died from it before making a comeback (currently home recovering). That said me being home for the longest amount of time since summer vacations back in college (I'm 34 years old) has been a very positive byproduct. I work from home very efficiently and so I immediately get 2 hours of life back between shower/shave/dress/commute. I save money on dry cleaning, finally my wife and I just had my first baby (a girl) who is approaching 3 months old and I just can't shake this feeling that this is how life is SUPPOSED to be lived. The idea that at some point my life will revert back to wake up at 6 AM to drop my kid off with strangers to sit in an office for 8-9 hours, to travel back to the stranger to pick up my child to make it home hopefully before 8 PM. Sneak in a workout if I can muster the energy, stuff food down my gullet, try and get a smile out of my baby and go to sleep to repeat the process.

Man...fuck the modern life.
